CORDEONE
began his journey playing Portuguese Balls at the tender age of 9. He is a multi-instrumentalist who, starting with the accordion, taught himself to play piano, classic guitar, Portuguese guitar, Brazilian percussions, drums, and the bass. At the age of 18, he embarked on a professional career in music.
Cordeone’s musical odyssey has allowed him the pleasure of working and collaborating with amazing artists from all walks of life, such as Jah Mason, Turbulence, Big Joe Turner, Michael Pipoquinha, Ben l'Oncle Soul, Mario Canonge, Samson Schmidt and many more.
The artist strives to compose music that best represents his personal and artistic identity.

Fun Fact…
Cordeone was a part of a Punk Rock band called Killing The Short Circus as a teenager. The group performed considerably across local bars and venues in his hometown Tours (France).

Last Forever (Single - 2022)
Cordeone’s latest single, Last Forever is a hymn for all the lovers out there! A celebration of romance, chance encounters and hopes for a bright future, the song is dedicated to his wife and partner.
Its soulful groove and old school R&B feel expands on Cordeone’s musicality and signature, bringing a new sound to his toolkit. Written, performed and composed by Cordeone; backup vocals are performed by Tererk.
Latchi Raïsa (2022)
The third album in what may be coined “Pandemic-inspired” creativity, Latchi Raïsa saw it’s release in November 2022, with the support of French recording label Label West.
Latchi Raïsa is performed by Cordeone’s band Fado Manouche with featured guests and chronicles Cordeone’s love for Gypsy Jazz and French Swing music. It is a vagabond’s serenade, paying homage to beautiful cities such as Lisbon, Hong Kong, Bombay, Paris, Bahia and Anjouan. In true Cordeone signature, the artist merges various styles of music into his swing, playfully incorporating Hip Hop, Classical music, Waltz, Oriental music, Chorro and more into the album
A mostly instrumental album, Cordeone surprises us with his velvet croon in Paris, De Mauvaise humeur, an ode to the uglier side of Parisian lifestyle one can only truly know through first-hand experience. Listen to Latchi Raïsa, which translates to “Good Travels,” everywhere you stream your music.
Rendez-Vous À Paris (2021)
Inspired to compose and record during the Pandemic, this is the second out of four albums Cordeone recorded during these unprecedented times. The album is called Rendez-vous in Paris and is a duet with the king of French Acoustic Swing, AKA Jazz Manouche, the great Marcel Loeffler. Having known each other for a while but never having found the opportunity to work together, Marcel suggested the time was right. It’s been a great honor and a moment of enormous pride for Cordeone to work with Marcel.
The album is one of freedom and discovery, where two exceptionally skilled accordionists and friends get together and converse through classic Manouche and Jazz standards chosen on the spot. Rendez-Vous À Paris was recorded at the Gobelins studio, where the amazing sound engineer and accordionist Douglas Marcolino presided. Beautiful titles such as Give Me The Night and other funk standards and swings tunes are given a new flare. An album full of poetry and passion, Rendez-Vous À Paris is a friendly discussion between two great musicians who appreciate and respect each other.
No Meio Da Noite (2021)
Cordeone’s first Pandemic album, No Meio Da Noite, is a celebration of Forró and Brazilian music through Cordeone’s culturally mixed lens. It is a feel good album made to bring back joy and hope. 12 Original songs and one cover (Carlinhos Brown’s Juras De Samba) make up this deliciously fun album that invites audiences to join anew and dance our blues away. Songs are sung in English, French, and Portuguese, with special guests Tony Lito, Jake Owens, Douglas Marciano, Gabriel Bonnin and more.
Fully recorded remotely, Cordeone invites colleagues and friends from New York, France, and Portugal to take part in this work. Touches of Biguine (French Caribbean) rhythm, Kizumba, and other sounds foreign to traditional Forró are seamlessly blended into the album to further globalize this music, which is made for all. Se Vira (Figure It Out) exposes the confusion and madness of the Coronavirus Pandemic that currently still has its grip on the world, while Gaia Calls invites us to reconnect with and honor Mother Earth as global warming threatens its survival.
No Meio Da Noite is one of four albums recorded by Cordeone during the Coronavirus Pandemic. It is available on all major streaming platforms.
An album that marries two musical cultures that are very dear to Cordeone, Uma História Simples explores the similarities between the Gypsy world and the Portuguese world, all while embracing the differences that make each distinct. Merging Portuguese Fado meter with Jazz Mãnouche (Gypsy Jazz), Cordeone brings two unsuspecting genres together beautifully. The strum of the Gypsy Guitar replaces the Viola Do Fado, giving the music the grit that balances out the heart.
Uma História Simples was honored as the 2019 Best Fado Album at the International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMAs), where Cordeone also had the pleasure of performing as the soirée’s Opening Act.
An homage to the women of his life, Miss Erzulie explores complex and endearing relationships that have deeply affect Cordeone. From complicated ties with past lovers, to the nurturing connection with his Mother, and the life-changing arrival of his niece.
Cordeone surpasses himself by taking on the challenge of playing mostly all of the instruments on this album, safe for horns and violin. The album was well received in Europe, particularly in Portugal, where Cordeone had the pleasure of presenting the work across TV and radio stations, as well as on all of the main musical platforms.
“Life” in Portuguese, is Cordeone's first album released after two and a half years of writing, composing, arranging and pre-production. He created an eclectic representation of his musical inventiveness, borrowing from Jazz, Fado, Brazilian music, Funk, Reggae and Hip Hop.
Lyrics are sung in both Portuguese and French, with themes that shine a spotlight on some of the issues facing modern society. Often approached from a positive standpoint, each song puts forward a message of peace, respect and unity. The work as a whole is a somewhat autobiographical depiction of the artist's vision of life, influenced by experiences that have shaped his person.

Cordeone has graced many stages across the world, performing throughout North and South America, the EU, and Africa. He’s secured the opening acts for Ben l'oncle Soul, Danakil (La Nuit du Reggae) and La Ruda Salska; and also guest starred in the opening scene of Cédric Kahn's film Une Vie Meilleure, opposite Guillaume Canet and Leïla Bekhti.
